CONSULTATION
During the consultation, we decide whether the client is a candidate for this procedure. Consultation is the most important step to begin the process of the areola micropigmentation. It will determine the most pleasing color, position, form, and size for the nipple and the areola.
As a first step, we will listen and answer any questions or concerns that you may have. As we move into the ideas you desire and are looking for, we will make recommendations depending on your skin type, scar marks, and breast shape so that the areola shape that we design is perfect for your unique breast. We will communicate and decide together the best option for the look you desire. Once we have the concept of what you are looking for, we will choose a color together that fits you best. When we find the perfect color, we will draw your areola until we get your final approval. We will not begin the treatment until you are completely satisfied.
PROCEDURE
We use state of the art equipment and material approved by the state of California for the procedure (before we start with the procedure, forms must be filled out as required by State law). Permanent cosmetic tattooing is a simple, non-surgical procedure. We start by cleaning the breast area properly. We will draw the shape of the areola as agreed earlier, sterilize the surface, and then apply a topical anesthetic (cream and/or gel). We begin to insert the pigment into the dermal layer of the skin.
